How much more will the army bear?

Has it become a fashion to speak against the army?

Which are the countries in the world where the military overthrows and builds governments?

When I was writing on this important topic, some of my friends said that “ people would call you an agent of the establishment if you wrote in their favor” I said, these are Pakistan's army and agencies, not India's. Let the accusation be made.

There are many countries in the world where people are ready to lay down their lives for their army. There were some moments in history when common people came out to fight the enemy along with the army, this happened in Pakistan too. In the war of 1965, people used to climb on the roofs with long bamboos to shoot down Indian plans.

This desire was an emotion, a feeling. There was a time when people never got tired of saluting the trucks of Pakistan Army. When children wore military uniforms and roamed the streets on September 6 and proudly shouted slogans. When in NCC training, young students in uniform felt themselves tossed about by the winds. But then what happened that the same youth started expressing strange thoughts against this reliable institution like Pakistan Army. Was the seed of hatred sown from outside or did someone cultivate this crop from within? We don't have to go too far back in history to find the answer.

Before going into the details of the subject, if the answer to a very important question is found, we may be able to solve the actual problems. If we say that those powers of the world who call themselves the best democracies, their establishment is involved in making or breaking governments there, so the answer is absolutely yes.

Why does this happen, perhaps because the establishment is also a major stakeholder like other institutions, in case of any disaster or chaos, they can also come in danger. So they have to play their constitutional and legal role like the US military and the establishment played after Trump lost and the people took over the White House.

See, if a military man votes, he should have the same right as a doctor, lawyer, bureaucrat, teacher and policeman to like or dislike any politician. Therefore, limiting them to the voting process in the political process would probably be wrong with them too. Therefore, many countries have included the army in the consultation process along with the electoral process.

Just see for yourself, Sometimes we hear, the army should stay away from politics, the job of the army is to protect the borders, the army should not interfere in the democratic process.

But often some other voices also hit the ears, the army should use its constitutional right to protect the institutions

only the army can make the election process peaceful. Not only this, but in every difficult time, whenever the nation was stuck, it gave voice to the forces of Pakistan.

So be it flood disasters or earthquake disasters, landslides or any other major accident, people and the government look to the Pakistan Army in every difficult time to come to their aid. And Pakistan's army is also such that they always said yes and came to help.
When they are called for any kind of help, everyone always looks at them, even some one called them empire and waited for their finger to stood up, so why is there so much hatred towards them and why are they being targeted now.

There was a time when it was fashion to attend study circles with the Red Book of Mao Zedong and Lenin tucked under one's arm. When it was popular to call oneself a red revolutionary, to tie every red cloth on the head, to hold a red flag and to chant the slogan of Asia Red, and young people thought it was a passion to do this.

It has now become fashion to target the army, speak ill of the institutions, and ridicule them.

But we are forgetting that if there are no people who say Asia is red, those who say bad things about the institutions will also disappear.

I was very saddened when the golden men, women and children earning livelihood standing on the roadside were targeted saying that they are agency people, and Islamabad has been taken hostage by these golden people. A foreign newspaper wrote a report on this hypothesis and our people remained silent. Not only this, but some people made this news true and presented something as if the Golden Man Woman children were all reporting to them.

It is sad that those golden color dressed up youths, children and women who stand at different places and receive praise and money from people, their lives are in danger after this fake news. These people in golden color who were completely civilians are now two people working in a workshop. They says that they used to support their children by selling art and now they have to return to the same hardship. I have already mentioned in an other story about the fake hijras (Khawaja Sar’s) who are begging in every city, while they have complete rule in Islamabad, but no one is ready to lift a finger on this strange creature. Perhaps the reason for this is the NGOs running in the name of transgender, which eat funds from foreign countries.

While there was no NGO for those people with golden clothes and faces, so no one said that falsehood and lies were being written about them.

Then I realised that the situation has become really bad. Our young generation has been so poisoned that they believe every news and talk that is against our institutions , military or intelligence agencies, even it’s wrong.

have been following both Pakistani mass media and social media since this news was published, but I have to say with great regret that the reaction that should have come from the Pakistani people and individuals has not come. why ? . Perhaps the reason for this is the use of a tool that destroys trust from institutions by creating an assumption in the hybrid war fair, of which half of the nation, if not the whole, has become a victim.

It creates a chaos that people prefer to make their own decisions rather than relying on the courts. Instead of going to the police, people take up arms themselves and start policing, instead of trusting the army, people look suspiciously at the intelligence agencies and their own army.

By which people and institutions are separated. The society is divided into groups and they are made to take up arms and fight among themselves. Perhaps this is just the beginning. But may God not let us see its end and extreme level.

  1. A highly commendable approach towards the issue. We must realize that we are all Pakistanis including out institutions, political parties and other stake holders. Our objectives have to be the development of a nation, its progress and prosperity. This can only be achieved through a rational approach towards power sharing, mutual respect and cooperation, promote a culture of social justice, peace and security. We must ensure that we treat even the enemies with justice and respect. Use of bad language, shouts and slogans against the state or against each other can only please our enemies. The author has written with a heavy heart about our current situation. Problem identification is key to create a rational and logical solution. Thought provoking.
